The Hork-Bajir Chronicles - Chapter 18

Chapter 18 of The Hork-Bajir Chronicles, part 22.5 of Animorphs Aloud, a fan-produced read-aloud version of the Animorphs series.

There is Yeerk speech in this chapter which uses brackets around the dialogue, but I couldn't decide if that should be considered thought-speech or not., since it was implied to be used in the Yeerk pool only between Yeerks. I used the the standard thought-speak sound effect in #18 for the Yeerks inside Leeran Controllers who were using thought-speak (thought that situation may have just been typos), but the brackets are also used for Yeerks communicating inside a host brain, for which I have a different effect. I decided to go with the latter option here. I'd love to know what you all think about that logic! Is this proper thought-speak or no?
